  • Built Zelyo from the ground up, an open-source, AI-powered Kubernetes operator that serves as a 24/7 digital SRE and security engineer. After nearly a decade of 2 AM PagerDuty alerts at places like Binance and Berachain, I decided to build the engineer I wished I’d had on my team.
  • Zelyo follows an Observe-Reason-Act architecture: it watches your cluster in real time, uses LLMs to diagnose root causes with confidence scoring, and then generates production-safe YAML patches and opens GitOps PRs, all without taking write access to the cluster. It closes the loop from alert to fix, with a human always in the approval seat.
  • Wrote 20,000+ lines of Go powering 9 custom Kubernetes resources, 8 security scanners, statistical anomaly detection, multi-provider LLM reasoning (OpenRouter, OpenAI, Anthropic, Ollama), and a from-scratch GitHub App engine for PR lifecycle management, using only the standard library. The operator ships via Helm on Artifact Hub under Apache 2.0.
  • On the business side, I developed the full strategic roadmap, GTM motion, and pre-seed fundraising materials — positioning Zelyo as an open-source-first platform following the Grafana/HashiCorp playbook, with a clear path from free community adoption to enterprise SaaS revenue.
